One animal or plant species goes extinct every 20 minutes, or on average 26,280 species disappear each year. At this rate, almost a quarter of these global species will go extinct by the middle of the century.

Hundred of guests including faculty members, heads of department, development partners, professionals, leaders of Organizations of Civil Society (CSO), as well as Masters and Doctorate students attended the official ceremony for the beginning of GéoRESBIO's scientific activities.
During the working meeting extended to Teachers and Researchers of the Félix Houphouet-Boigny University, and to the Research Institute for Development (IRD), it was unanimously decided to make the GéoRESBIO a research team that collaborates with scientists and professionals from various scientific groups, research centers and institutes.
Read more ...These scientific days aim to create a permanent framework for exchanges between drone professionals and the scientific community in order to contribute to a transfer of technology and skills from the drone to the various fields of scientific research in Côte d'Ivoire, and even in Africa. They will contribute to capacity building for ministry professionals and scientists.
